Seasonal Farm Hands — April 2026
We are looking for up to 2 casual seasonal farm hands to join us at BUDA Organic Foods for up to 5 weeks, starting around 20 April 2026.
This position is well suited to working holiday visa holders (subclass 417 or 462) seeking to complete regional work requirements.
The work
Approximately 20 hours per week (around 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday). Tasks will include:
- Weeding and planting
- Harvesting
- Fencing removal
- Brush cutting and chainsaw work (battery-powered tools)
- General farm maintenance
Pay
Employment is casual under the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028).

| Level 1 — entry level (considered) | $30.35/hr |
Working holiday visa holders (subclass 417/462) are subject to a flat 15% PAYG withholding tax rate on Australian-sourced income.
Accommodation
On-farm accommodation is available at cost under a separate written agreement:
- Room only: approximately $180 per week per person
- Room + all meals: approximately $330 per week per person

Important — vegan household
BUDA Organic Foods is a vegan household. Workers staying on the property or visiting the farm must agree not to bring any meat, dairy products, poultry, eggs, or fish onto the property.
